Tyson Wells Enterprises in Quartzsite, Arizona was founded by Lloyd & Lavoun Dyer in 1977. It began with an open lot which a R.V. Park was developed and the Sell-A-Rama Show started in 1978. Soon Tyson Wells became World known as a leading Rock & Gem Show in the United States. Lloyd and Lavoun ran the business until 1995 then Lavoun’s son, Kym Scott, took over the business. Kym, a business Major from Fresno State University, gave new life to the business by acquiring new land for more parking, expanding by adding two more shows (Rock & Gem Show and Art & Craft Fair), built self-storage units, built two big building for indoor vendors, added a new seasonal selling lot, and most recently a new business office.

The Tyson Wells Rock & Gem show is known for rock, gem & mineral vendors from around the world. The show is always early January and runs for 10 days. It is a great place to find gems, rocks, minerals, jewelry, faceting, precious metals, lapidary tool, equipment & supplies.
The Tyson Wells Sell-A-Rama show is in late January and also runs for 10 days. Like the Rock & Gems Show, the Sell-A-Rama showcases the rock, gem, & mineral vendors and adds Art & Craft vendors also. The Sell-A-Rama has over 850 vendor spaces which equals roughly 2.2 miles of aisle frontage. In 2012 this will be the 34th annual show. You can find just about anything in this 25 acre show.
The Tyson Wells Art & Craft Fair takes place early February each year. One can find arts, crafts, hobbies supplies, jewelry, and lapidary supplies. This show has limited number of indoor selling spaces for artist & jewelers.
During the winter season Tyson Wells Market Centre has much to offer with the seasonal selling market with vendors selling tools, tarps, t-shirts, jerky products, women’s clothing, socks, hats, DVD movie sales, custom wooden signs, pet supplies, gold by the inch, vitamins, R.V. supplies, leather goods, jewelry, watches, bead supplies, novelty items, banners, metal sign, can food store, a brick & mortar Game Store, food vendors, and much more.
